beautiful. how do you do it? my soul was saying "mmmm" as each photo came up. and we cut a tiny, tiny vase of pink and white lilies-of-the-valley this week ourselves. because you can inhale their delicate, springy fragrance that way without neighbors thinking you're kissing your lawn. :-) blessings, ann
Funny, despite the fact that my eyes are heavy and my feet are dragging, these sweet images and music have me feeling lighter than air....beautiful!
Thank you SO MUCH for the lovely wishes that you left for my birthday. It has truly been a week of special times, celebrating with those near and dear, and my blog friends are an extension of that joy : )
You have such a kind heart... Thank you so much for your sweet words about Willow... I love your post.. The pink faux roses look so close to my cabbage roses... Just beautiful! Wishing you a beautiful weekend, I am off to the ocean to visit my son. Blessings to you dear friend Penny
This is such a beautiful post, I love each and every picture! I hope that your spring has arrived, and that you are enjoying it ~ Thank you so much for your visits, things were a bit hectic with the household being sick, but we are all on the mend and ready to go! Have a lovely weekend, Nathalie
You are such a dear to come by and leave me such a sweet note. Yes, I had a wonderful visit with my son and his wife at the ocean... Wishing you a wonderful weekend. Love and blessings, Penny
i'm so glad you came by to let me know that you're enjoying runes! (did you get the beautiful hardcover with the green dustjacket and loon drawing?) he is a world unto himself...much wisdom, sensitivity, and vision. i'm so glad you like him.
muguet des bois? sounds lovely. but i think i was wearing lemon splash by love's baby soft right about then. :-) you had better taste than i did.
Palomasea dearest... i am having so much fun with this art process...your comments are sweet and i love it here...my favorite is the green tree line avenue...of summer rain... i wish to be there.
dearest irina, i responded to your kind, kind comment on my blog, but wanted to come "in person" to discuss our friend mr. olson. i'm so thrilled that you are lost in his writings! he is completely transporting for me, also. i only read one essay every now and again, so as to stretch them out for a good, long time, though they will be wonderful as old-friend rereads, too. i do, quite irrationally, hope you read his book, the singing wilderness, next. it's my next favorite, and has, as the very last essay....TIMBER WOLVES! which was the first essay of his that i ever read...so totally stirring! again, i'm thrilled to find another who "gets" him. thank you for that joy. wilderness blessings, ann
p.s. i love thoreau, too. i remember first encountering him in english lit in...junior high, perhaps it was, and thinking, "finally! here's someone who makes sense to ME." :-) what a joy and relief he was. and still is. your friend, ann
I just came out of my garden, where it is so MUGGY... I experience these photos and I feel SO REFRESHED and cool,,, AHHHH, please, pour me more pink lemonade.
